Greeting

Prof. Satoshi Yasuda

Thank you for visiting our website.

Since August 2020, I have been appointed as a professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at my alma mater, Tohoku University.

At Tohoku University, we have experts who are engaged in advanced medical care for a wide range of cardiovascular diseases such as ischemic and valvular heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, pulmonary hypertension, and cardiomyopathy.

The environment for conducting research is established. We have many achievements in translation and collaboration with academia and industry.

The following three are what I really cherish in my department.

1st, Passion. I would like to work with passion for medical care, research, and education and take pride in working as a member of Tohoku University, a facility that represents Japan.

2nd, Balance. I would like to keep the balance, between "Feelings and Reason", "Clinician and Researcher", or "Member of Society and Professional Physician".

3rd, Fairness. I would like to respect fairness in my research, integrity of my work, and compassion for my colleagues.

The power of the individual is the power of the organization.

We would like to work with all the members to further develop the department, build human resources, and contribute to community healthcare.
